Situated in a small village in the Perigord Vert, this recently restored stone built gite with exposed beams throughout and attractive internal stonework, will sleep 2/4 people. The ground floor has one large room consisting of a lounge area including a bed settee and a large stone fireplace, there is also a dining table and the kitchen area is fully equipped and includes a washing machine. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and a separate shower room/WC. An enclosed garden at the rear contains a swimming pool for the exclusive use of holidaymakers renting this gite. Garden furniture and a barbecue are also provided.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of a bakery and a bar/tabac/restaurant. A supermarket is only three kilometres away and the historic town of Excideuil with its weekly market and medieval chateau with links to Richard the Lionheart is just beyond. Perigueux, regional capital of the Perigord, is approximately 35 kilometres away and the cottage is within easy reach of many of the tourist attractions of the area such as the chateau at Hautefort. There are also plenty of possibilities for walking and cycling in the surrounding beautiful countryside.

The gite will be available from Saturday 27th of March 2004 and prices will vary between 200 pounds in the low season and 375 pounds in high season. The prices include the supply of bedding but not towels and tea towels. Electricity costs are included, except in the low season when an additional charge will be made.
