This website is made available to you by French Idyll ("we", "us" or "our").

By using FrenchIdyll.co.uk (the "Site") you agree to be bound by and accept, without modification, the terms, conditions and notices published on this web site (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these terms, then you are not authorised to use this web site.

1. The Site is a Portal

1.1. WE ARE NOT INVOLVED IN ANY RENTAL TRANSACTION. The Site is a portal that allows a member (singularly known as "member", collectively "members") of our Site to offer for rent a holiday property, or properties, to potential renters (singularly known as "user", collectively "users"). We do not enter into any contract concerning any property on the Site, nor do we own any property on the Site. We are not involved in the actual transaction between a member and user. As a result, it is the sole responsibility of the user to check the accuracy, quality, ability of a member to rent a property and safety of each property advertised before entering into any agreement.

2. Content Provided on the Site

2.1 All content provided by members of the Site is presented in good faith, and we do not pre-screen, or verify content. As a result, we are not responsible for the reliability, accuracy or currency of member contributed content. Should any content be brought to our attention as misleading or incorrect we shall take action as necessary. We therefore reserve the right to suspend or remove any member contributed content that fails to meet our content requirements.

3. Trademarks, Copyrights and Restrictions

3.1. Text, images, illustrations, photos, maps and other materials on the Site (collectively "content") are for personal use only. The content is protected by copyrights, and/or other intellectual property rights (which are governed by UK, EU, US and world-wide copyright laws and treaty provisions, publicity and privacy laws, and statutes and communications regulations) and are owned by French Idyll.

4. Modifications to the Site and Unavailability

4.1 There may be times when the Site experiences technical difficulties and will become inaccessible. In such circumstances we will take reasonable skill and care to ensure a swift return to service, when the difficulties are within our control. We cannot guarantee continuous access to the Site, or its features.

4.2 Where we have legal, commercial or technical reasons to do so; we may update, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Site including, but not limited to, content, database access, service access and features.

5. Liability

5.1. Information on this Site is provided free of access charge. French Idyll provides the information on the basis we have no liability for the information.

5.2. French Idyll will not be liable for any direct or indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, revenue, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages resulting from, or based on, our Site, your use of the Site and/or any transaction between users and members.

5.3 We do not recommend or endorse any properties featured on the Site. The information is not intended to be relied upon by any user in making a decision to rent a property.

6. Legal Jurisdiction

6.1. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance to, and governed by, the laws of England and you agree irrevocably that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.

7. Amendments

7.1 We reserve the right to modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms at any time. Such alterations, modifications, or updates shall be effective immediately upon posting. We shall post notice when the Terms are altered, modified or updated after which you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Additional Terms Of Use Appicable To Members Only

8. Becoming a Member

8.1. Only members who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law may use our services.

9. Obligation to Order

9.1. We offer the opportunity to access the member's area for free. This access is only to be used by prospective members to trial the services offered by French Idyll. This trial opportunity may be withdrawn at any time. As a free service we do not guarantee the back-up of data provided; this is a benefit of paying members only. Data provided will be deleted following a period of one week, although we may choose to remove it sooner.

10. Accuracy of Data Provided

10.1. Any information submitted to the Site during registration, content updates, or at any other time must be true and correct. Each member gives this guarantee when submitting information.

11. Website Layout and Content

11.1. The design, functionality and layout of the Site is determined by French Idyll.

11.2. There may be cause for us to amend, update or delete information provided a member. We reserve the right to do this at any time and will have no liability for any loss, or damage resulting from this.

12. Identification of Property Units

12.1 A page that displays the main body of an advertisement is determined as a property unit ("unit"). There may only be one property advertised on each unit. We provide the option to add more units to an account, should you wish to advertise another property.

13. Copyright of Member Data

13.1. All material, including, but not limited to, photographs and text, submitted by a member is defined as information ("information"). Each member warrants that, whenever information is submitted, he is the owner of the copyright or is authorized by the owner to grant to us the rights to the copyright of the information submitted.

13.2. Each member agrees that we may reproduce, in whole or part, any information submitted to promote his advertisement or the Site.

13.3. By accepting these Terms you grant us an unrestricted and royalty-free licence to use, copy, display, distribute, reproduce, modify and otherwise exploit information submitted by you.

14. Advertising Termination

14.1. Any member found to be in breach of these Terms, or its obligations, may have their advertising suspended and/or terminated without notice. In such circumstances we will not issue a refund.

14.2. We will withdraw any advertisement upon request by the member concerned, upon which no refund will be issued.

14.3. Submitting unsuitable material to our Site or database is grounds for immediate advertisement termination. If an advertisement is terminated by us for this reason no refund will be issued.

14.4. If we receive a complaint, or become aware, of any practice that is deemed unsuitable by us regarding the rental of a property then we may terminate the advertisement without warning and without refund.
