La Mare Palu is a beautifully renovated farmhouse in French country chic style. All the rooms are large and comfortable and have new and clean en-suite shower rooms.

We have an established cider apple orchard to the front of the house followed by a large courtyard with lots of room for parking. Behind the cob barn is our pear orchard and vegetable garden and at the rear of the house is the large garden with apple, cherry, fig and walnut trees.

The double rooms have king sized comfortable beds and we also have family rooms with a single and double bed that have direct access onto the back garden.

We have a large selection for breakfast including ham, egg and cheese toasted muffins, banana and honey pancakes, omelettes and the ultimate croissants.

We also have WIFI internet access in the lounge. Also if you stay at our B&B you get a great Brittany Ferry discount to and from the UK

Set in a regional park with plenty of off road parking we are the ideal place to relax and unwind. However we are close to the major attractions being only 20 minutes from the Normandy D Day Landing beaches, 30 minutes from the 1,000 year old Bayeux Tapestry and only 90 minutes from Mont ST Michel.

The area is practically an island surrounded by miles of golden empty beaches. There are beaches for windsurfers and all water sports to family friendly beaches. There is plenty to see and do from the nature reserve 5 minutes close by as well as Castles and chateaus to museums and adventure and amusement parks.

For antique hunters we have one of the largest Depot Vents where you can find a bargain from plates and glassware to memorabilia and furniture.

Enjoy real French life at one of the many markets, relax and watch the world go by in a cafe and indulge in the French cuisine and wine.

The are disused railway tracks for walkers and cyclist and many rambling routes. The nature reserve is ideal for bird watchers.

From Paris we are only 2 1/2 hours. The roads are easy and our area has very few cars on the roads. We provide an easy map to get to our B&B
